What does a Veterinary Nurse do?

We provide supportive, non diagnostic care such as wellness observations, hygiene services, recovery assistance and everyday pet care education. Learn more about wellness consults.

Do you replace my veterinarian?

No, we work alongside your vet. If your pet is unwell, injured or showing sudden changes, please contact your veterinarian directly.


What is a wellness consult?

A gentle, in home check in with simple observations like TPR, weight, hydration indicators, demeanour, coat/skin condition and mobility notes. It’s supportive, educational and non diagnostic. 

Can you diagnose health problems?

No, diagnosis must come from a veterinarian. We provide observations and guidance only.

Do you offer hygiene services?

Yes, nail trims, external ear cleaning, hygiene clips and dental home care support.

Do you groom?

No, we offer hygiene care only, not full grooming.


Do you provide post‑operative care?

Yes, as long as your pet has a written discharge plan from their veterinarian.

Can you remove sutures?

Yes, once your vet has confirmed that removal is appropriate.

Can you give medication?

Yes, when your veterinarian has provided written instructions.

Do you charge a travel fee?

A mobile call out or travel fee may apply depending on your location. This is always confirmed before your appointment.
